How do I know what to take?
Knowing what to take will depend on a variety of factors. These include your program requirements, preferences, and academic level. You should be in regular contact with your academic advisor to ensure you’re choosing the right courses.
It’s best if you save a short list of courses you are interested in then speak with an academic advisor to help determine which course(s) will fit best in your plans.
If you do not have an academic advisor, you'll need to get in touch with the institution that is offering the course you want to take. Contact the VHD for more information.

What is an academic calendar (or a student handbook)?
The academic calendar has several other names as well. Kind of like a superhero. Each institution will publish a yearly guide containing information about course offerings, prerequisites, appeals, withdrawal policies and more. If you have questions about the calendar, contact an academic advisor to help you go through it. The calendar or handbook is usually available online or in print.
