IL-3301 Special Topics in Indigenous Language

This course provides an opportunity for advanced study of an Indigenous language other than Cree and Ojibwe. Students are evaluated on their existing language ability at the beginning of the term to make sure they can be successful in this course. Learning may focus on the knowledge necessary for effective teaching of the language, and/or the study and creation of narratives in the language. The nature and range of topics vary, depending upon the expertise of the instructor. The course may be repeated if the topic varies.
