In this micro-credential course, students will be introduced to accounting processes in the film industry. Students will focus on the analysis of film production budgets, evaluate production expenses, and process them using financial accounting software (Sage 50). Ancillary work outside of software use is explored to better understand the film industry accounting workflow.Note: The film accounting series (PROF-9011, PROF-9012 and PROF-9013) can be taken in any order.
