This course is a basic introduction to programming using the Python programming language. Students will develop, code, test and debug programs for simple applications using proper programming principles and documentation. Topics include data types, variable declaration, control structures, methods, classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, arrays, and other data structures. No prior knowledge of programming is required.Python is recommended for developers who are interested in pursuing careers in Security, Networking and Internet-of-Things. Students who complete this course are ready to take the PCAP-Certified Associate in Python programming. Students who pass this course will receive a digital badge.
