An introduction to statistical concepts and procedures and their application to Business Administration. Topics covered include: descriptive statistics, probability, binomial, poisson, exponential and normal distributions, statistical inference for one population and comparison of two populations. Simple linear and multiple linear regression and Chi-Square tests. The use of spreadsheets will be emphasized throughout. 3 lecture hours per week, one term.
