The economic, legal, political and social aspects of the labour relations system in the private and public sectors will be examined in this course, including an analysis of industrial relations issues, and the relationship between employers, employees and government with the Canadian Industrial Relations System. This course will have a strong emphasis on dispute resolution in a labour relations environment. 3 lecture hours per week, one term.
