ECON-1103 Introduction to Economics: Macro

This is an introductory analysis of contemporary economic institutions and the application of macro-economic theory to current Canadian economic problems. The course will consider economic theories of the determination of national income, governmental monetary and fiscal policy, the role of money and the banking system, international trade and the determination of foreign exchange rates. Note: Students may not hold credit for this course and ECON-1104(3) or ECON-1106(3). Restrictions: Students may not hold credit for this course and ECON-1104 | ECON-1106.
