This course examines the role which spirituality plays in health and the practice of healing, exploring how different ideas about healing and spirituality are rooted in distinct cultural perspectives. Topics covered will include comparisons of the relationship between religious beliefs, the process of healing, and the practice of medicine in the history and current experience of different cultures, both Western and Non-Western.
