This course explores the evolution and ecology of the nine extant groups of vascular plants. Their success in ancient and contemporary environments is examined through consideration of structural diversity, life history, and reproductive biology. Emphasis will be placed on local flora.

BIOL-1115 and BIOL-1116 (prerequisite) BIOL-2153L (lab) (must be taken concurrently).
