PSYC 2490 Abnormal Psychology

The study of theory and research on abnormal human behaviour. The major forms of psychological disturbance are discussed. An introduction to the prevention and treatment of psychological disturbances is given. Students may not hold credit for PSYC 2490 and any of: PSYC 2491 or the former PSYC 3460 or the former PSYC 3461. Prerequisite: [PSYC 1200 or the former PSYC 1201] or [PSYC 1211 and PSYC 1221] or written consent of department head.
